Traditions
We have a rich history at Penn Nursing—dating back to the late 1800’s—and we celebrate our legacy and our students through annual traditions.
Fall
Every autumn we hold orientation for BSN, MSN, and PhD students, Family Weekend, an all-school community update, Homecoming, and Nursing Career Day.
Spring
In the spring we hold orientation for spring-start master’s students, an MLK celebration, a week of global health reflections, Wellness Week, Faculty and Student award event, and our annual Commencement.
Summer
At the start of our summer session, we have orientation for our summer-start master’s students and for those in our accelerated BSN/BSN-MSN program.
